Our high quality universal silicone hoses come in a range of diameters and shapes to suit many applications, including straight couplers, reducing couplers, hump hoses and 45, 90, 135 and 180 degree elbows. These hoses can be combined with our range of universal aluminium pipes and are perfect for making your own custom pipe work for coolant, intercooler, turbo and intake systems.
All sizes up to 48mm I.D. are 100mm leg length, sizes from 51mm to 68mm I.D. are 120mm leg length, and all sizes 70mm I.D. or larger are 150mm leg length. Please refer to diagram in the photo gallery to see how leg length is measured before ordering.
Smaller sizes up to 48mm I.D. are constructed from 4 high grade silicone layers reinforced with 3 layers of tough polyester fabric with a total wall thickness of approx 4.5mm. Sizes 51mm I.D. and larger feature an extra layer of silicone and reinforcing fabric for a total thickness of approx 5.4mm.
The hoses are available with an optional pair of fully T304 Stainless Steel W4 Worm-Drive Hose Clamps.
To measure the diameter needed measure the OUTER diameter of the hard pipe(s) you will be connecting the hose to, not including any bead on the pipe. This measurement is the internal diameter of hose you need to order. Most sizes will stretch approx 1mm-2mm with good lubrication, so a 70mm hose will usually fit a 71mm or 72mm pipe for example. To lubricate the hose use washing up liquid/dish soap or a silicone-based lubricant, do not use oil-based lubricants including WD-40.
